Sven-Ole Thorsen

Sven-Ole Thorsen is a Danish actor, stuntman, and martial artist, best known for his long-standing collaboration with Arnold Schwarzenegger and his appearances in some of the most iconic action films of all time.

He gained recognition for his roles in films such as Conan the Barbarian, where he portrayed the hammer-wielding Thorgim, The Running Man as the memorable character Sven, and Predator. Throughout his career, Thorsen has appeared in more Arnold Schwarzenegger films than any other actor.

Film Career

Sven-Ole’s journey into Hollywood began with Conan the Barbarian, where Arnold Schwarzenegger brought several of his bodybuilding colleagues, including Thorsen, to work on the film. This marked the beginning of a long and successful collaboration.

He later reunited with Schwarzenegger on Commando and went on to appear in numerous major productions. His roles range from warriors and soldiers to villains and supporting characters in both film and television.

He is married to Birgitta Sunding, a talent manager, film producer, casting director, and author. Together, they have a blended family and divide their time between Los Angeles, California, Spain and Denmark.
